I have a BAH booking with BA, Cathay and Qantas legs in Economy. For seat reservations BA is fine but, despite being Gold/Emerald, neither BA nor Cathay can reserve seats on the Cathay codeshares, either online or by phone. Ironically BA was able to reserve Qantas seats by phone despite this leg not being a codeshare. Can someone confirm that this is as it should be? Thanks.
