I’ll preface this by saying I’ve not stayed at either but have visited Tokyo many times and eaten at Signature (at the MO). I’m also a big MO fan and have stayed at the BKK MO.

IMO if you absolutely need proximity to Tokyo station, stay at the Shanghai la. If not, I’d pick the MO.
