Find the likelihood of your flight's premium seat configuration
I'm building a site to see the likelihood of your long haul flight having the latest business/first class seats using only your flight number.
When you buy a business / first class fare, it's often very difficult to find out if your flight has the newest business class seat configuration.. This can make a huge difference to your journey and your overall customer experience. For example on BA, the Club Suite is far superior to the older Club seat config.
Enter cabinradar.info (flyertalk wouldn't let me post the actual link as I haven't got 5 posts) - simply enter your flight number to see the most likely cabin configuration based on historical flight data. Obviously future configurations are a bit unknown as airlines could in theory change an aircraft type on a route at any time., but airlines tend to keep the same aircraft on the same route in a given schedule, so it should be reasonably accurate!
At the moment it only works with British Airways, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand and American Airlines, but I'm looking to add support for much more in future. Lot's of airlines are retrofitting their fleet so hoping this site will be useful for some folks as they start to be rolled out!
Sorry if this isn't allowed here, but thought other av folks/travellers might find it useful. One request I'm looking for from this community is for photos of the cabins of these airlines. I can't seem to find any in the airline media kits that I'm allowed to use, so for most of them I have just a blank space. There are definitely a few bugs, so would appreciate any feedback!
