If you catch either them or the airline on at a time when they aren't fully staffed (i.e. a holiday weekend, for example!), it can take close to 48 hours. They don't simply forget about tickets booked through them (I.e. good follow up to the extent that it's a little annoying).
Interesting and still bizarre since you would think all of this issuing is automated by now.
And yeah, they do follow up to the point that it is annoying even for minor schedule changes.
