I just booked my first flight with BA* since the changes were announced - a one-way to Oslo, positioning for a flight to Australia on Turkish Airlines. BA was the cheapest option, at £57, and the pragmatic choice - previously, the entire trip would have been with BA or a Oneworld partner.

I'll get 21 tier points for the trip, which is more than 0.1% of the way to Gold. Woohoo. I'm intending to wipe out BA's profit on this flight by lounge-hopping in T3.
