Hey everyone!
Im excited to share something I just launched: a brand-new award search tool for Qatar Airways with a strong focus on helping you find Qsuites, premium cabins, and actual seat availability across multiple dates.
This is version 1 of the tool, and while its early, it already brings a bunch of features that the official site sadly lacks especially for those of us trying to track down decent QR award space.
🛠️ What does it do?
This tool is built for those who want a smarter and more transparent way to search QR award space, especially through the lens of miles/points bookings.
You can:
✅ Search a range of dates in one go
✅ Filter for Qsuite, business, and first class only
✅ See detailed cabin splits (for mixed-class itineraries)
✅ Know exactly how many award seats are left
🧠 Designed for award travelers who care about:- Saving time with bulk date search
- Avoiding those frustrating "mixed cabin" surprises
- Knowing when there are multiple award seats available
- Accuracy of live results (scripts run from your browser, so always fresh data!
Youll see a clean layout with:- Departure/arrival times, aircraft type, stop info
- Clearly labeled cabin types (Qsuite, Business, Mixed, etc.)
- Exact number of seats remaining per class
- Total Avios cos
Installing the award search tool
Install Tampermonkey from Chrome Web Store
Install QR Award Search Tool from qr.maxr[dot]ws/qr.user.js
(you should see the installation page from Tampermonkey - if you see download prompt, make sure
Tampermonkey is installed.)
If you don't see the search icon after installing the tool, read the steps here:
To enable a Tampermonkey user script, first navigate to the extension's settings (often by right-clicking the Tampermonkey icon and selecting "Manage Extension").Then, locate the "Allow User Scripts" toggle and ensure it's enabled. Once enabled, you can manage your installed scripts through the Tampermonkey dashboard, where you can activate or deactivate individual scripts for specific websites. Using the award search tool
Locate the Avios view of your desired origin and destination with the earliest preferred date.
Use one way search.
If you see the old UI like below, search another origin/destination pair like SEA/BKK.
Locate the award search button
Then, type your desired origin/destination pair and the first desired date. For example, 10 days means it will search through Feb 1 to Feb 10.
Now, you can filter results to find your desired award space quickly.
Congrats! You are hours minutes closer to book your award ticket!
🚧 What's next?
This is just v1 there's lots of room to grow. I'm planning:- Calendar view
- Multi-city search support
- Save results and share with friends
If you're a QR fan, award travel optimizer, or just tired of wasting time clicking day-by-day give it a look and let me know what you think!
Would love feedback, suggestions, or bug reports and if it helps you snag a dream Qsuite flight, even better. 😄
Cheers and happy searching!
