I am going to see how the dust settles on the whole upgrade thing. I will say that the upgrade I got it probably as good as it gets as the cottages are of course going to be off limits in any scenario which would be consistent with Hyatt terms overall. A one category upgrade from the standard room is really a high floor room if I remember correctly so not a huge upgrade. Now, I am flying solo on my stays here, I am probably ok with that to tell the truth. Upgrades that Hyatt are not easy even with an upgrade cert sometimes and their standard rooms are a little tight. I will say that the Hyatt suites are pretty comfy so if I am with the wife and can secure that suite in advance, that could make a difference. I do like that there are a lot more things walkable from The Standard property though. Well, more easily walkable that is as there are places walkable from the Hyatt but it is a bit more of an effort.
