We had a one-night stay here on an Amex "luxury rate" that included a $150USD hotel credit. They upgraded us to a suite. We arrived at 11 a.m. and had warned them we were coming in from travel and they graciously had our room ready well before noon. Breakfast was very very good but like others have said you have to flag a waiter down to get coffee/cooked-to-order breakfast that is included -- no staff voluntarily came to our table. Get there early for the few outdoor seats in the garden. The spa was lovely (pool, sauna, steam). The rooms need a paint job at the very least but still felt glamorous.

Loved the location to the UNESCO old town -- just a few minutes walk.

The staff found our child's wallet left behind in the room safe and they quickly called us and sent a car to the train station to deliver it. They were on it so quick and we were able to get it a few minutes before our overnight train left the station. Excellent service.

The hotel was one of the few buildings not bombed in WWII and it's beautiful. Would stay here again for the old-school glamour (even if there were male guests wearing jorts in the dining room -- sigh).
