Just returned from a four-night stay at the Sheraton. Comfortable, clean, easy hotel. Perfect location in summer due to the fabulous, brief river walk to either Kazimierz or scenic streets to Old Town.

Vast majority of staff were generous, kind, welcoming, helpful. Printed out endless documents for us and brought to our door late at night. Very generous upgrade confirmed weeks prior to our arrival (we had a complex itinerary of points/paid stays/multiple Marriott members and had emailed them in advance about it). Absolutely lovely welcome gift for our celebratory travel (cake!). Lots of treats throughout our stay. Probably the best service we received on our all-Marriott trip through Eastern Europe. But there were two few very rude front desk people who had insisted on things being one way when in fact they were incorrect and it kind of shocked us out of our bubble a bit to have to argue with them on issues that should have been easy for them to first confirm in their system.

Neither breakfast buffet nor food in executive lounge were particularly exciting but the "dinner" at the lounge seemed to have upped it's game and we were happy to have it as a pre-dinner on the few nights we were around. There are so many great places within walking distance for food that it's fine if you miss it. Lounge is small and can be crowded, go early if possible.

We only went to the main bar a few times in our stay but they once comped our drinks. Just generally lovely staff.

We would stay here again.
