They don't seem to have their basic room and suites defined in the Hyatt system yet which is why both the suite upgrades and points bookings are not possible. I called WoH and there's no timeline for this. Hopefully they fix that soon because this Standard seems like the most exciting Hyatt option in town.
I just left the property a few days ago. I was upgraded to a Studio Suite as a Globalist. In my pre-arrival email and on-site, I was told that the policy is one category upgrade but they made an exception for me as they wanted me to to try the suite out, or something along those lines. I assumed that since I couldn’t use a suite upgrade, nor points booking for suites and the communication from the property…..that they had some sort of exception on the suite thing in the T&C’s etc. I will try to do a full review soon. In short, it is a great property.
