SkyTeam Elite Plus members get the same benefits as Morning Calm Premium/Million Miler members
Assuming that your companion has no status, and you are the one with Delta Platinum, it is dependent on what class you are travelling:
Economy- if booked on a saver fare: a total of 3 bags, 23kg each (2 included with fare, 1 from your Delta status)
- if booked on a non-saver fare: a total of 5 bags, 23kg each (4 included with fare, 1 from your Delta status)
Prestige or First- if booked in Prestige: a total of 5 bags, 32kg each (4 included with fare, 1 from your Delta status)
- if booked in First: a total of 7 bags, 32kg each (6 included with fare, 1 from your Delta status)
Reports from commenters on Naver are stating that Korean Air are very strict at the Morning Club/SkyTeam Elite Plus check-in counters, and they may not check in & bag drop companion friend at said counter if you are using your companion's baggage entitlement. This may be a Korean airport thing but just an eye to keep a lookout for.
