Capital One has an opportunity to take advantage of these brands that they acquired from the discover purchase. Carte Blanche could become their top tier card, the C1 version of a Centurion Card. Diners Club could be used for their X series of cards.

As far as BMO, I’m sure they could be nd that contract. Especially since BMO hasn’t issued any new accounts in years. And the current Diners Club issued in the US are actually Mastercard. In Brazil the ELO network issues the name Diners Club to their highest tier of cards. I have one issued in Brazil from Bradesco which uses the ELO network which uses the Discover Network outside of Brazil.

in China Discover has an agreement to use the UnionPay network and vice versa.
