Problem is what was working for the easy filler no longer is for me. I can do grocery store pickup through Fred Meyer and Safeway which is a nice double dip with grocery and online. I get thrown off working with two cards that so far have mostly gotten the same offers. Trying to organically hit 1k GGR+online twice was tough. 2k twice, no chance! We're a family of four and I felt like we overspend in those categories until these promos. LOL. I tried to top off each one with easy gift cards when I added up at the end of the month and realized I was short. Kroger Pay worked once in the store last month for a gift card with my other groceries at self checkout, I think it was a Disney over 200, but since then asks for a drivers license to be keyed in which requires an employee if using self check and even then usually the transaction gets denied. Meanwhile you have people getting irritated behind you while the employee keys in a 12 digit alphanumeric license number only for it to get denied. If I use the card on the reader manually the whole transaction goes through fine but you lose out on online. Anyway, these (plus my Doordash option dying) were some of the reasons I was scrambling on the last few days to make sure I was covered.
