Sorry for the confusion, it's NOT the JW Marriott that we booked as an alternative, it is Le Meridien in Panama City.
Le Meridien is still a far better area than Albrook Mall, and more convenient to Casco Viejo. But Albrook Mall is convenient to Colon-just get on the Corredor Norte right in front and then take the autopista to Colon. But depending on the time of day, probably not much difference in time overall.
I presumed you would boarding at the new cruise port at Amador.
