Changing flights at airport check in
I'm not sure where to post this, so moderators, please move accordingly.

Does a United check in/gate agent have the ability to change my flights for me when I check in at the airport ? Currently flying YYZ-IAH-HNL with a 63 minute connection. I'd prefer to fly YYZ-ORD-HNL with a 90+ minute connection. Tried to change online, but I'm not able to do so. Any thoughts or suggestions ?
