25 minutes later....Agent #3 managed to get it ticketed...though the confirmation email I received is comically lacking in key details such as 'origin' or 'destination'.
While I was on the call I asked whether the agent would stay online with me while I attempted to cancel another flight, which unsurprisingly failed. Scrolling down the list of flights to the one in question, then clicking 'cancel', I was prompted to log in....which I was (else how would I have got that far?), but no log-in option was presented, so I hit a brick wall. The agent did it for me.
Agent acknowledged my frustration and said their systems were subject to far more security than before, due to increased fraudulent activity.
