Also, AF/KLM announced they will increase ownership to 60,5% and aim to increase marketshare in Scandinavia. Maybe these plaes are to be part of some kind of Cityhopper Nordic, feeding not only CPH but also AMS and CDG? Or doing point-to-point?
There has been no confirmation about cabin configuration, but it will be single class with the ability to sell the front rows as Premium or Business depending on the route.
The KLM Cityhopper comparison came to mind as well. Cityhopper has 60+ Embraer. Assuming that these new aircraft all go to SAS Link and the airline keeps some of the existing ~15 older E195 then the two will be very similar in size.
As a resident of Umeå who’s often forced to make two connections via both ARN and CPH. I’m looking forward to the rumoured growth of direct routes from secondary cities in NO/SE to CPH. (Perhaps a portion of the ramp at the western or eastern end of CPH will become like Schiphol’s “Fokker Farm” with waves of Embraers feeding the hubs.)
