Online boarding passes might not be issued so that you need to pickup paper boarding pass at the checkin counter where they check your documents. Out of Egypt I never received an online BP and I read that it is the same for KWI. If you think you could get the ex-KWI BP already at IST - no way. Tried that with TK and was nog successful. they can't issue BP for departure at another airport except it's a followup flight on the same ticket.

Both BEY and KWI have two or more daily flights so I would never book a direct turnaround - i stay in Kuwait and CaIro for a "sightseeing day" to be on the safe side.

MEL, SYD should not be a problem. There you can generate an online BP 24 hours prior to departure and male an internationsl transit - still the ex Australia flight must be on a separate ticket as TK does not sell tickets with direct turnaround although MCT is no issue
