Same to MEL, SYD, GRU, can you just board the same flight immediately back ?
As
@f0zzyNUE says a boarding card is generally a prerequisite for an airside connection, B2B or otherwise. Kuwait is a little different, because it's one of the airports where there's an airside desk that issue boarding cards, liaising with the landside desks: which is great for connections as it saves time, a visa fee and passport stamp. Counting on arriving with a boarding card issued in Istanbul, or getting one issued at the airside desk, is a bit risky, with so much as stake.
I'm guessing you are hoping to connect to a KWI-IST-XXX flight. There are cheap and frequent flights from Kuwait to airports in the Gulf, Abu Dhabi being particularly cheap: maybe an AUH IST XXX would be a well-priced alternative: otherwise you might have long wait at KWI, or an overnight in the city.
There again, why not make this a little less boring, and embrace the opportunity to spend a couple of days in new places? Otherwise it all looks a bit pointless.
