The fact that it's being offered on non-Panasonic aircraft (789, 77E with GE engines, 388s) is not a coincidence.
The reality is that BA purchased the IFE for all the fleets yet to be reconfigured, as well as the nex 78X to arrive and, as far as I know, there might be an agreement already in place for the 779.
This is a stopgap.
