But yes, check your T&C, somebody suggested that their cards will cover strikes, mind don't. My experience had told me unless it's something specifically mentioned, black and white, word by word, I highly doubt they are going to cover it.
FWIW, the Chase card insurance covers strikes under the "Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance" policy.

Specifically:
An organized strike affecting public transportation which causes
You or Your Traveling Companion to a) miss at least 20% of the
scheduled duration of the Trip; or b) miss the departure of a prepaid
cruise, or tour (booked through a Tour Operator) that You are
scheduled to take
