Turkey's free stopover terms and conditions are quite... contradictory
• Passengers traveling to/from international flights with a connection at Istanbul Airport (IST) can benefit from our Stopover Service on both outbound or return flights.
• Passengers can benefit from this service only once for either the outbound or return flight.

So can I take advantage of this on both the outbound and return, or only either or?
