Do those that jump the line actually move out of the way? I could see them lingering at the front. We have done business class tickets recently but not since the new procedure. Often have to fight our way to the front at our boarding time. Thanks.
I haven't seen a ton of rejections yet, but in the cases I've seen it, the GA unclipped the stanchion and cleared them out of the way that way. I wasn't there long enough to see how far back in the crowd they went, but after that spectacle, I can't imagine they kept too high a profile and clogged the works longer than they needed to. Most of the scanner "checks" I've seen so far were valid exceptions that the scanner wouldn't know about (active military in uniform, companion boarding group, etc.), so I've only seen people turned back a few times.
