Prive rates are not always higher than member rates. There have been quite a few times where I've booked the Prive rate for a client that's lower than or equal to the best member rate.

One current example is the Thompson Nashville. For 10/10-13 the best member rate is $423 or $444/night (nonrefundable/refundable). The Prive rate is $417 and is refundable.

There's currently also a promo going on in the Americas where most nonrefundable bookings through the end of September will be 20% off, roughly matching hte "Members Save More" nonrefundable rate. PH Chicago 8/14-17 is $667/night with this rate or $763/night for the best member rate.

It never hurts to check with a Prive travel advisor before booking. We have access to some fantastic rates.
