Based on recent J class trip reports I don’t see any indication of major cost cutting including the most recent review of the AMS inaugural business class review however perhaps someone with a more recent first hand experience can comment. I am planning a J class trip with WY but not till later towards end of year so will report back here with my general observations in few months time.

To be fair though there has been some major cost cutting with QR J catering lately as you can see from my recent posts and even the crews are telling me the same esp with regards to fewer meals being loaded onboard. Champagne and Wine quality has gone down as well as you know compared to 3-4 years ago. As someone who consistently travel with QR J every month or so the past few years I can definitely feel some areas where they’ve cut things. I could probably write a whole essay on it!
