Okay, but OP was talking about booking AF/KL Light fares on DL metal as a DL Medallion. You can get access to the DL seats at booking time in this case, but DL Comfort+ upgrades won't be processed at window due to AF/KL coding and the fact that C+ is booked in a separate class (and not just extra legroom seats in coach like KL Economy Comfort).
