Two, so different hotels, albeit the Marriot does have tons of excellent reviews! It is right at the mall if that turns your crank; close to the canal and honestly Uber is easily accessible to take you anywhere. This was going to be our 3rd winter coming to Panama - We actually enjoyed the Westin Playa Bonita - it is not the most plush place or centrally located but loved the balcony, lots of pool areas (brutal beach - don't come here for that), a club lounge that is not fancy but does the trick somedays and simply quieter for the most part. We have done the tours etc., so enjoy this area for 5 nights to just relax then if need be move somewhere more central. We like it for what it offers but there are mixed reviews. Our plans changed so I cancelled the hotel as we will be in Peru for the entire time.
