The experience in the Concorde Room is radically different than say Galleries South. More and more, airlines are also taking their "Crown Jewel" type lounges out of the alliance rules entirely or restricting them. Lounges like the BA Concorde Room, AA Flagship First Dining, AC Signature Suite, AF Le Premiere, LHG First Class Lounges amongst others do not allow general alliance access.
My suggestion is that if lounge experience is an important factor in your airline loyalty decisions, you start narrowing it down based.on where you are planning on travelling and how you plan to get access to lounges. The Lufthansa First Class terminal is all nice and good; however, if Frankfurt is not in your travel plans and you are not flying Lufthansa Group First Class or flying enough to earn Miles & More HON Circle, then it's existence is not relevant to your choice.
I will say that oneWorld may be a good choice for you if you plan to travel enough to earn oneWorld Emerald status (e.g. BA Gold, AA Platinum Pro or higher, AS 75K or higher) as that offers entry to First Class lounges where available (and not otherwise restricted). Star Alliance and Skyteam only offer Business Class lounge access for their highest members.
thanks that's helpful....reminds me a frequent flier once said if you can afford to fly British Airways First Class 24/7 then you will never complain about airline service or airport lounge experiences!

Star Alliance comes in strong too, especially with the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt and the Swiss First Lounge in Zurich. If you are flying first, those are hard to beat. But for business or elite status passengers, some of their other lounges can feel a bit hit or miss.
SkyTeam has made some improvements, but outside of their flagship lounges in Istanbul or Paris, it still feels like they are catching up.
It depends on your home airport and where you fly most often. But if I had to choose based on the best overall lounge experience, I would lean Oneworld.
I think OneWorld Business Lounges definitely need upgrading but I understand their First Class lounges are cool
