For sheer wow factor, I would say Oneworld takes the lead, mostly because of the Qantas First Lounge in Sydney and the Cathay Pacific lounges in Hong Kong. Both have great food, a calm atmosphere, and design that feels more like a high-end hotel than an airport.

Star Alliance comes in strong too, especially with the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt and the Swiss First Lounge in Zurich. If you are flying first, those are hard to beat. But for business or elite status passengers, some of their other lounges can feel a bit hit or miss.

SkyTeam has made some improvements, but outside of their flagship lounges in Istanbul or Paris, it still feels like they are catching up.

It depends on your home airport and where you fly most often. But if I had to choose based on the best overall lounge experience, I would lean Oneworld.
