Speaking of spammy fake emails... The below just showed up in my inbox and my first thought was "wow, those scammers aren't even trying -- is "
Luzon Island" even a real place? And if it is I certainly don't have a trip planned there!"
Then I looked at Google Maps and realized that it's the Philippines and while Luzon Island may be technically correct that term doesn't appear anywhere in my reservation when viewing it on United.com -- everything refers to it as "CRK" "Clark, PH" or just "Philippines" -- had United's crack marketing team used any of those (or even "Manilla" which I've come to understand is essentially the same metro area as Clark) my first thought wouldn't have been "scam spam"
Edit: Oh joy, another one and yet another name that I've never seen used before to refer to the same destination, guess United is thinking "Why let scammers have all the fun"
