In the past I usually hit the Enter key or the Cancel key --- it varies for the store --- to have it process as credit.
But if you hit the wrong key, then there is a delay because the cashier has to something and the people behind you are impatient.
Fortunately, no problems at Dollar Tree and CVS today.
