I was pleasantly surprised to learn The Surawongse reinstated breakfast in the restaurant for elites (can take it in lounge if you so choose). I have no idea when the change took effect, all I know is restaurant breakfast was complimentary for elites in August 2023, was not complimentary by October 2023, I had like 8 different stays in the interim where I was under the impression it was not complimentary (nobody said anything), and then just now stumbled into mention of restaurant breakast in the arrival letter that I usually turn down on repeat visits but accepted out of curiosity.
