My experience getting a bulkhead on SQ21

Just don’t want to call in vain t-96 of my flight and deal with the shame of the agent telling me the seats are indeed occupied.
So to follow up, before 96 hrs, EF was still showing bulkheads occupied. But exactly at 96 hours, EF showed a couple of seats available. However, as expected, seats were still showing as occupied via mmb on the SQ app. Initially I called to see if I could have one assigned, however the CS rep said window bulkheads are reserved for pax with infants and wouldn’t be selectable until boarding, and to get an aisle bulkhead, they would have to escalate the case and would call me back within 24 hours. I then decided to message the live chat via the app, and was assigned a window bulkhead within a few minutes. Unfortunately, due to the escalation set forth by the (assuming misinformed) CS rep, I had to call back SQ and cancel the escalation, which took almost 15 mins. Moral of the story, check EF at t-96 and then just message the chat, don’t call. And slightly off topic, but as a SQ newbie, I was under the impression the SQ’s CS reps aren’t too bad, but after this experience is clear they’re closer to that of QR or EY, ie uninformed at the best or just making stuff up at the worst.
