You can certainly book with the AU card, but you do have to book through the Chase Sapphire portal. Each UR card has access to their own travel portal.
i didnt even know that there is a chase travel portal and a chase sapphire travel portal. is the portal then also split into sapphire reserve portal and sapphire preferred portal?
btw the t&cs for the $50 only stated booked through chase travel portal. i guess my understanding of automatically and chase travel is different from chase's
