Interesting observation.

Have you noticed that when you go to Chase Travel, there’s still a drop down to select a card? You can choose your Sapphire Preferred or other card for the specific portal. I wonder if that’s the issue. If you had selected the Preferred portal within your own account, you might be okay too.
