Fair. I generally have a lot of admin to be getting on with, and (so long as I'm sat comfortably) it's much more pleasant to do so while being served decent food and free drink, and with lots of movies to watch if I choose to.
You can easily achieve that in a hotel lounge with a netflix subscription that has much better movies than the TK C selection. For that kind of $ you can get it done even at a Ritz or St. Regis
I know some people just like to fly C for no reason (someone booked an award flight just to fly in C) - I guess everyone has their interests in different area but this is definitely not the kind of experience I want. If the campaign lasts for a year and say do 3 continent and gives me 30k extra points I would be more willing to try, as I can combine it with a holiday at the destination.
The only good thing for this campaign is that you don't have time to feel jetlag
