E190s are the main issue IMHO as some have 3 rows of business, others have 4 rows. So economy can start at row 4 or 5 which is what causes the whole seat moving circus, esp. as it can often change every day before the flight.
Much of this would be solved by QF following the SQ, CX etc trend of starting J and Y at set seat rows.
And queue a lot more of it happening as the 321s go into service with 4 rows of business and the 737s at 3 rows.
