That would be my expectation. This E190 case was interesting because I was moved from 3A to 2E and 3A was immediately occupied. This was approx 18 hrs before departure. (Ironically I moved myself to 1E and for now 1F, 2E, 2F all vacant so I might end up with more space. MIGHT.
