The no XP makes it clear this was not really about saving on-board space. Well, this will push the Ulti chasing crowd to buy the Light fare at the least, but I can see PFLs going to the Basic fare. It's also odd that you can now earn XP on Transavia, but take a flight on AF/KL without earning XP. That is kind of shameful.
On another note, the same flight shows up as 105 EUR on KLM in light, and 95 EUR on AF. So maybe, at least for now, the light fare is actually cheaper?
Oh bollocks. That does not show on mobile (I wonder what would happen if I demanded to be given my XP based on the fact that I was never told I would not get them).
Considering light will go up by 30 EUR in my case, this is a
real bad value now for me to keep to FB. Switching over to EB seems like a smart decision from where I am sitting (as long as that lasts)
