I always select an aisle seat but, unfortunately, late changes can occur for a variety of legitimate reasons and CW on BA is a particular problem. Other FT members have advised travelling via the EU, which I am looking into but don’t want to turn one problem into another by involving multiple flights and multiple terminals but at the very least I will enjoy researching the art of the possible.
