Changes to Metropolitan Lounge Access T&C
I don't think I've seen it posted here, but other forums have been discussing changes to the access policies for Amtrak lounges. The major changes appear to be:
  • Access in now only permitted 3 hours prior to the schedule departure time, except for First Class and AGR Select Executive/Plus passengers connecting between two trains on the same itinerary, and guests whose trains are delayed.
  • Single Visit Passes are now for the individual plus one child under 12. (I'm pretty sure these passes used to be valid for holder+guest, though I never actually tried to use them that way.)
