There's a unique window where we can slide our newborn son on to hotel reservations a bit more easily, but I was wondering what families of 5 typically end up booking for travel accommodation? Is there a consistent brand that is most family-friendly, specifically for families of 5? I was looking at having my wife get the IHG One Rewards Premier card and ChatGPT mentions that Indigo, Kimpton, and InterContinental, often have some flexibility specifically for adding newborns. Or do Airbnbs or VRBO's end up being the most economical with a family, even if it's a cash booking?

Speaking with my dad (as we are a family of 5), he said that he somewhat reluctantly used to book a hotel room with 2 adults and just 2 kids, and have us walk in separately to avoid needing to book two hotel rooms. Thanks in advance for any tips/tricks here as I am a new dad!
