Lifemiles award on Turkish Airlines - asked to pay 700$ for seat or downgraded
I booked 4 award seats on business class on Turksih From MLE to GVA for 4 passengers using avianca lifemiles. As I couldnt reserve seats online i called Turkish help center.

The agent told me that I have booked business class basic seats and that I couldnt select seats (fair enough) and that I should pay 700$ per passenger to select seats that the flight was full and if I didnt reserve seats I would be downgraded to economy..When i complained I was told he could make me a price for 300$...

Super shady

Is this possible?
