This will not be our first time in Tokyo, and we will be there when it is cold in winter. We want to enjoy the time in the hotel because we are using this guest of honor experience. We want to use the pool, steam room, sauna, and all of the guest of honor amenities.

I know that Grand Hyatt has a separate area of cold plunge and sauna only accessible to globalist members or those who pay for it. Is Andaz similar? I have read many threads and posts and even their websites, and I know that Andaz has a pool available to all hotel guests, but was having trouble finding info regarding a steam room/sauna situation.

Here are my questions (I will be traveling with my significant other. No kids)
1) Is there steam room/sauna at Andaz Tokyo?
2) If the answer to 1 is yes, is it available for free to all guests, or just globalists?
3) If the answer to 1 is yes, then which steam room sauna situation do you prefer between Andaz and GHT?

And I guess a third question, which will vary widely for those answering but any insight will help.
3) Which would you choose for a week long stay in which you are doing minimal sightseeing and will more so be leaving to shop and take the subway to good meals. We have done much of tourist tokyo as well surrounding tokyo neighborhoods as well. We want to feel pampered for a week at a hotel, which is something we've never really done before. We do not care as much about immediate surrounding location and access to popular sites. Just, in a vacuum, which is the best "pamper yourself for a week" guest of honor experience.

Thanks!
Haven't done Andaz yet but have done many staycations at GH and like their pool/gym/sauna facilities. To answer your location question it probably doesn’t matter significantly since they are literally two stops apart on the same line (Hibiya).
