Thank you, I appreciate your reply. Finding out about car rental in USA as a European tourist is a bit of a mine field because a lot of advise online is geared towards Americans, i.e. credit card rental coverage, personal auto rental coverage, none of which applies to me.
So, for my rental I have DW and SLI through the rental company. I also have personal travel insurance from my home country that covered medical costs and personal items. Aside from road assistance protection, am I missing anything else important that might have financial liability for me? I'm being super cautions here because Sixt in Scotland tried to blame me for some pre-existing damage, but thankfully I had photos to prove the damage was there at pick-up, but I'd like to avoid as much hassle as possible.
