On the PQI layover, parlog could rent a car and sleep in that or even stay in the terminal since it is such a short overnight. IIRC there are only a couple of boutique hotels nearby.

I also noticed on days 13/14, parlog will have to get from BUF back to FLL.

Again, the magic number is $5,250. Mosaic 1 is not worth enough for me to include it in my valuation (and I still question if JetBlue will be around long enough to honor it for 25 years).

Great eye on the MVY and PQI overnights — totally agree those can be tricky.

Luckily, I found a spot for MVY that works: Hostelling International Martha’s Vineyard had beds for $40 (booked via the Booking app for the extra 10% off). That’s the only truly barebones night on the whole run, but it does the job.

For BUF → FLL I’ll be using the Frontier GoWild pass — I scoped out a flight for $16 all-in. Not glamorous, but it gets me back on track without breaking the budget.

As for PQI, I’m leaning toward just staying in the terminal if it stays open (and catching up on work with Wi-Fi). If it’s closed overnight, I’ll walk around or maybe nap in a rental car if absolutely needed. Definitely don’t plan to shell out boutique hotel money for a 6-hour layover.

So far I’m on pace to keep the whole lodging + transit part well under the $5,250 valuation (and honestly, the challenge has been half the fun).
