To provide that update: The AAdvantage shopping transaction posted a couple days later with a date of June 25th and as soon as it posted my 10,000 bonus LPs also posted with the same date. So the bonus LPs posting the next time you have a transaction, with an effective date that matches that transaction, seems to be how it works currently.
