There continue to be problems with some SWA pages rejecting current passwords and others accepting them, though the specifics have changed since this was previously reported. I won't go into details as it is wiser to make a new password that meets the rules. Doing so, however, is a bit problematic as the unhelpful demand to enter a valid password gives no clue as to what is considered valid.
Assuming the rejection messages are applying the rules that are stated on the page where one creates a new account (enormous assumption with SWA, I know), these are the requirements:
- Must be 8-16 characters in length
- Must contain at least one uppercase letter
- Must contain at least one number
- May not start with special characters
- May include only these special characters !@#$%^*();:/ \
