I am down to being a lowly Platinum now and thus had no hope of help from DL. Call back time was over four hours for me on Saturday morning. DL cancelled my flight to ATL and notified me at 3am. The notification included a message the DL was unable to find me any other flight options (which is a message I have never gotten before). I ended up buying two last minute tickets on AA. Was any of this DL’s fault? No. But a four hour call back time is not an acceptable. And the app / website were of no help as I was booked with a RUC.

DL claims they will compensate folks like me. We will see if that is the case. To be clear, I know that I am only entitled to a refund of my cancelled flight. Anything more would just be a nice gesture.
