Everyone's thresholds for meaningful rewards are different, but netting an extra $100 per year (extra 1% on $10K) isn't valuable enough to me to burn an inquiry, 5/24 slot, another tradeline, and have to keep track of whether I've hit the $10K in spend or not. Even the Chase Freedom [Flex] program is annoying for extra earning at 5% with a cap every quarter, but at least with those I 1) get UR points which are more valuable than cash back, and 2) I acquire those cards via product changes (downgrades) from other cards, so no new tradelines or inquiries.

Maybe if you also just use it as your 2% card and therefore "don't care" about the cap, but I think there are better options out there.
